Oppouji temple has a long history and was founded in 736. There are many massive trees planted in the vast precincts of approximately 83,000㎡, and you can relax in tranquility . They worship Dainichi Nyorai which is the origin of all Buddha, so they seem to be listened to any wishes.When you visit the temple, please stop by the Kinoto Manjuya in front of the temple. Sake Manju, which is made by fermenting malted rice and glutinous rice, is said to have been made more than 200 years ago from the head priest of the temple at that time. It's a standard snack that local people buy in bulk in units of dozens, and it's 108 yen for 1 (tax included). The 'Rice flour Manju' (125 yen including tax), which is fried after an order, has an excellent combination of the crispy outside and the chewy texture of rice flour.
